YOu found a secret page on my website!!

I would like to share with you the secret insight that has made the BIGGEST impact on my life.

I was working with my mentor Christina Berkley and I was telling her how I was going to approach my big scary goals of creating a 6x Figure Coaching Practice and take my success to the next level; I was going to do with it ferocity, determination, and GRIT (insert "grrr" sound).

Christina looks at me and she said: "You don't have to do that."

Perplexed. "What do you mean?" I replied.

"You don't have to do the whole "grr" thing. What are you trying to prove with your goals?". Christina asked lovingly.

And for a moment it felt like time stood still. The first thought that came to me was "I'm trying to prove that I'm smart, successful, and capable so.... that my Dad will acknowledge me". I replied.

I got very quiet as the secret reason behind my DRIVE and DETERMINATION was subtly unravelling for me. "Holy shit..." I thought.

"What if you didn't have to prove anything? What would that be like?" Christina asked.

I felt my body breath a quiet exhale as if a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. "I would.... I would take it easier on myself. I would have more fun. I wouldn't compare myself to other people so much. I would stop giving a shit if my Dad acknowledged me or not. I would do more things that brought me joy and peace. I would slow down. I wouldn't be in such a rush....".

"Would you still want the 6x Figure Coaching Business?" Christina asked.

"Yes, and not because I have anything to prove, but because it would be so much fun! and I would have so much fun creating it - even if it didn't work out". I replied.

Christina nodded and smiled.

As a result of that conversation my both my Coaching business and my Taekwondo business have grown exponentially in beautiful and wonderful ways. And most importantly - I am having so much fun being in the business and serving people from a place of love - rather than me trying to prove something.

Something to Prove Vs Something to Love

You see, when you are trying to prove something - you are making it about you. And when you make it about you - it's so easy to get caught up in your thinking; your ego is easily bruised, you push yourself way harder than you need to, you are forcing this chip on your shoulder onto other people to help you prove the thing you are trying to prove... it's just messy.

When you are not trying to prove anything, you create space for LOVE to work through you - and the stuff that LOVE can do is downright AMAZING. It's like Flow + You effortlessly creating things in the world.

Just for today;

What would you do if you didn't have to prove anything to anyone?

What would your day look like?

How would you approach your vision?
