What does "mud" have to do with thinking and creating things in the world?

Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself? Tao Te Ching Translated by Stephen Mitchell For me, this understanding has been THE MOST DIFFICULT thing to put into practice. 🤫 I find it especially difficult when it comes to creating results for myself and my business. I am addicted to winning. I am addicted to seeing results right F*ing now. 🤬 Anyone else here addicted to winning and quick results too? 🙋‍♂️ When I catch myself in this space, I notice it. Things are less funny. Things look more serious. Things take up more time and energy. I have more insecure thinking on my mind. I start saying things like "I need to make this happen". 😤 My conditioning moves me into action. I spring into MASSIVE ACTION and strategize how to get from point A to point B. I am a bit of an expert at that. 😎 Yet, it still feels off. And then I see it. I am just stirring up more mud in my mind. I can't see properly so I get insecure and fearful. And when I see it, I know to slow the F* down for a moment. I reconnect to creativity and inner wisdom. 🌊 I allow what wants to emerge to emerge. Something always does. I've noticed that it ends up being something far greater than anything I could have imagined, such as speaking at one of Thailand's biggest Tech Conferences or hosting SUPER FAIL 1.0 and 2.0. 😆 Just for today 🎯 ✅ Like my colleague Sarah Kostin says, "slow the F* down" or slow down just 5%. What would that look like for you? ✅ Think of something that looks and feels real serious for you. Let go and let God take over for a bit. Leave it alone. Go do something else and come back to it later. If this resonated with you, please let me know.
